Photographs on this site are either made by NYCID or licensed from a named source. Every image carries its credit under it, and the credit is the answer to who holds the rights.
These are our own work and they are not public domain. The notice on them reads © NYCID, all rights reserved.
They may be reproduced for editorial and educational use with the credit kept intact and a link to the page they came from. Commercial reproduction, resale, and use in marketing or in a listing require a licence in writing beforehand. Training a model on them is not covered by any of the above and requires a separate licence.
Where a photograph carries another name, that name holds the rights and NYCID does not. We cannot license it to you and the terms here do not apply to it. Requests go to the credited holder, whose link is on the credit where one is recorded.
Imagery from brokerages and sales sites is not used on this site at all, so it will not appear among these credits.
Say which photograph, by the page it appears on, and what the use is. A request that names the page and the use is answered. One that asks for blanket rights to the archive is not.
