The Henry at 211 West 84th Street was designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West as architect of record, eighteen storeys holding 45 residences, with frontage running most of the block from Broadway.

The elevation is Indiana limestone over the first three storeys and hand set tan brick above, with limestone trim, terrace setbacks and bay windows. Some living rooms are double height and carry arched windows.

Two conditions follow from that. A double height room with an arched head is a single volume rather than a stacked pair, so anything at the window is drawn to a height no standard system reaches and the head is a curve rather than a line. And the bay windows push the glass past the wall, which gives a shallow alcove with light from three sides and no solid wall behind it, the same trade as at Lantern House.

Masonry with punched openings means solid wall between windows elsewhere in each apartment, so there is somewhere to build.
